        Bio
        Luuk Boelens earned a degree in urban design from Delft University of Technology and earned his doctorate in the sociogenesis of urban design, planning and philosophy with the thesis ‘Urban Design and Planning – An Unfinished Project: Toward a Communicative Approach to Urban Development and Design’. Boelens is a special professor of planning at Utrecht University, a chair established by the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment and dealing with mobility and spatial planning.
