Éva Le Roi studied illustration at the École Estienne in Paris and visual media at the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg. Since then she reflects on conditioning by means of a set of sections of socially controlled places. Since 2010 she has worked as an independent illustrator, together with architecture offices such as Xaveer De Geyter Architects, 51N4E, AUC and Nicolas Firket Architects. In 2012 she presented a graphic contribution to the project ‘POST-CITY’ in the pavilion of Luxemburg at the architecture biennale of Venice.

OASE editors Bart Decroos, Sereh Mandias, Elsbeth Ronner and Kornelia Dimitrova wrote a Call for Abstracts for OASE #112 with the theme “Ecological Aesthetics”. This
issue of OASE is interested in contributions that investigate the role
of aesthetics in contemporary ecological practices and discourses in
