1. Barry Blesser

        Bio
        Barry Blesser has spent the last 40 years exploring the influence of cognitive and perceptual psychology on the design and implementation of technology. After nine years as an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at MIT, he founded Blesser Associates as a technical and management consulting firm. Dr Blesser is considered one of the grandfathers of the digital audio revolution, inventing the first commercial digital reverberation system in 1976 and serving as President of the Audio Engineering Society in 1980. Dr Blesser has published numerous papers in professional journals and has been awarded many patents on audio and signal process. Recently, he and Linda-Ruth Salter co-authored the book, Spaces Speak, Are You Listening? Experiencing Aural Architecture, which was published by MIT Press in 2006.
