1. Roy Bijhouwer

        Bio
        Roy Bijhouwer is an urban designer and architect. He is co-president of the Quadrat office for urban design and landscape architecture in Rotterdam. Designs by Quadrat include the compact urban residential district of Dichterwijk in Utrecht, the ‘city gardens’ park in Amstelveen and the residential districts of Horsterveld in Zeewolde and Veldhuizen in Leidsche Rijn. In addition, he is a guest lecturer at Delft University of Technology and the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam. He is a member of the editorial staff of the Yearbook for Urban Design and Landscape Architecture and has contributed to various publications on reconstruction in Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
