Ellen Shoskes is an urban planner associated with Portland State University (USA), where she teaches urban development and ‘Community and the Built Environment’. She writes for various academic and professional journals about the history of urban planning, housing and community development. She’s the author of the book Jaqueline Tyrwhitt: A Transnational Life in Urban Planning and Design (2013).
