1. Wilfried Wang
      2. Wilfried Wang is the O’Neil Ford Centennial Professor in Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin. With Barbara Hoidn, he is founder of HOIDN WANG PARTNER, Berlin (www.hoidnwang.de). Wang studied in London, where he was in partnership with John Southall (1989–1995). With Nadir Tharani, he founded the 9H magazine (1979–1995), with Richard Burdett, he co-directed the 9H Gallery (1985–1990); and directed the German Architecture Museum (1995–2000). He taught in London, Zurich, Cambridge (Mass.), Frankfurt and Pamplona. Wang is the author of essays, monographs and topographs on the architecture of the twentieth century. With Kevin Alter, Michael Benedikt and Barbara Hoidn, he co-edits the O’Neil Ford Monographs and the O’Neil Ford Duographs. With Barbara Hoidn, he co-edits the German government journal Building and Space. He is a member of CICA, an honorary member of the Federation of German Architects and of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm. [last updated in 2008]
