1. Henk Döll

        Bio
        Henk Döll is an architect. He works with a team of 25 professionals on a variety of projects in the Netherlands and abroad. Recent projects include the Toneelschuur theatre and film house and the Johannes Enschedé Hof housing complex for elderly residents in Haarlem, the New Limits apartment complex in IJsselstein en the Holland Haus in Hamburg. He frequently works with other disciplines in order to explore the limits of the field and make a contribution in addressing current social issues. This has resulted, among other things, in the book Ground-up City – Play as a Design Tool and the founding of the Sustainable Dance Club. Henk Döll was the founder of, and for over 20 a partner in, Mecanoo Architects. In addition he has been a visiting professor at Vienna University of Technology and the University of Michigan.
