Gerard Maccreanor graduated from the University of Bath (UK) in 1987 with First Class Honours. He worked with Peter Eisenmann and Norman Foster, among others, before founding the agency Maccreanor-Lavington Architects in 1991 with Richard Lavington. In 1992 they won Europan 2. The agency has offices in London and Rotterdam and works primarily on several large-scale housing and restructuring projects. Gerard Maccreanor has taught at such institutions as the Barlett School of Architecture in London, the School of Architecture in Stockholm and Delft University of Technology. [last updated in 2007]
